PS 133 Movie Nights

Let’s Dance It Out!

Join us this Friday 12/14 from 6-8 pm in the cafeteria for our Yule Ball Dance Party! Come in your Hogwarts fancy dress or holiday attire. Suggested donation is $5 per person. Food, snacks and beverages will be available for purchase. Volunteers needed to help with set up, collection of donations, concession stand sales and clean up.

Shop Local Parent Designers and Support PS 133

Visit the Brooklyn Museum’s Winterfest crafts fair and contribute to PS133! First-grade mom Tania Lugones will donate 10 percent of sales of her handmade handbags and jewelry to the PTA. Visit her at booth #34 and mention PS133. The fair is open daily at the museum except Mondays, and features more than fifty vendors, live music, wine tastings and a Christmas Maze. Middle School News

Dear 5th Grade Families,

Please be aware that the NYC Department of Education has extended the Middle School application deadline to Friday, December 14th.  If you have not done so already, please contact Mrs. McLeod at nmcleod@ps133brooklyn.org to receive your child’s OSIS (Student ID #) and Creation Code.

Please be advised that MySchools is only for the Middle School Application process. Please use the following link to begin creating, if  you have not done so already.

What you will need to create your MySchools account:

  • This fall, parents can complete their child’s middle school application online at myschools.nyc
  • Parents create an account with their personal email addresses
  • To add a student to their account, they will need:
    • Student ID (OSIS)
    • Account Creation Code (invitation letters mailed home; also can be received at current school)

The online application will be mobile device friendly, and available in the nine languages* translated by the NYCDOE (*Arabic, Bengali, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Korean, Russian, Spanish and Urdu).
