It Takes a Village!
Do you want to have a hand in making your child’s elementary school experience the best that it can be?
Do you want to meet and work with other talented and passionate parents who believe in the merits of a public school education?
Do you want to have a say in how we raise money for and run amazing programs and community events?
If you answered YES to any of these questions, please consider stepping up to take on a PTA Executive Board or SLT Role.
Don’t be afraid of the commitment: The PTA has worked hard to establish functional processes and ongoing successful events and current members are ready to walk you through the roles you take on. Consider running as a co to share the work. Help keep the PS133 ship sailing smoothly.
A PTA Board is critical to our student life: It is with strong PTA leadership that we have been able to bring important and beloved enrichment programs like Studio in the School, Theater for a New Audience, After school Library times and so much more to PS 133. Our popular after school program, playlab133, would not exist if it were not for the PTA. Our annual (successful!!!) fundraising events won’t flourish. This is your chance to help shape the direction of this growing school; to be the change you want to see in your child’s education.
