Early Childhood Intervention
The Early Childhood Intervention Program is designed to service students in grades K-2 who have been identified as being at risk for not reaching or maintaining academic grade level in literacy.
The purpose is to provide additional instructional literacy resources to help students who are performing below grade level, obtain the necessary academic skills to reach grade level performance.
This program focuses on the foundational skills needed to prepare students for reading.
Dual Language/Literacy Coach
Dalila Rabsatt has been part of the PS 133 family and the DOE for 25 years. She has been an educator in a variety of settings ranging from early childhood to the ICT classroom. Ms. Rabsatt has a Master of Arts in Reading and a Master of Science in Leadership and Technology. This year she serves in the capacity of Dual Language Coordinator and Coach. She supports teachers, students, and parents with matters of curriculum, instructional support, and informational sessions for the community. Her mission is to bridge all stakeholders in working together to achieve the school’s goal of developing future leaders who are great communicators, critical thinkers, and responsible citizens.
