GENERAL 
What are the onsite afterschool options at PS133? Full time afterschool programs are Kids Orbit, and University Settlement. We are considering adding TEiAM for January 2025.  Part time programs include ENFY French program and Encore enrichment classes. We also have multiple neighborhood providers pick up from PS133. ENCORE ENRICHMENT PROGRAMMING
Do I have to be enrolled in TEiAM in order participate in Encore enrichment classes? No. TEiAM manages the programing for Encore, but  Encore enrichment classes are open to PS133 students in kindergarten through grade 5 whether or not they regularly attend any PS133 afterschool. For those students not signed up for TEiAM, there is a once a year registration fee of $50

When will we find out the schedule for classes? Fall schedule is here. 
 
When are the 8 week sessions? There will be one session from October to before the holiday break, one in between holiday break and spring break, and one between spring break and the end of school. 
 
What is the timing for Encore enrichments? Each class is an hour long, once a week. There are two different enrichment periods each day: period 1 runs from 3:00 to 4:00, period 2 runs from 4:00 to 5:00
 
How does Encore pickup and dismissal work? 
    • TEiAM will get pick up students from their classroom at dismissal. Students in enrichment period 2 will be cared for by TEiAM until their class begins
    • Students who are enrolled with an on-site afterschool provider will be returned to their usual provider after class
    • Students who are not enrolled with an on-site after school provider will be released to their designated caregiver after class
    • Dismissal time depends on which enrichment period the class is scheduled - period 1 ends at 4:00, period 2 ends at 5:00
 
What is the cost of Encore Enrichment classes? Each class costs $300. There is a once a year registration fee of $50. Parents picking up students more than 15 minutes after their class ends will pay the TEiAM emergency drop in fee of $25
